Regency Rosewood and Tunbridge Ware Marquetry Tea Caddy
First quarter of the 19th century
The hinged coved lid opening to an interior fitted with a pair of hinged lidded foil-lined canisters centering a circular recess, the tapering case raised on turned ebonized feet. 7-1/2"H × 12"W × 6"D.
Very good restored condition, now with shiny varnish, the locking mechanism to the lid present, interior now lacking mixing bowl, minor lifting to marquetry.
Dimensions for mixing bowl: hole dia: 4-3/8", hole is 3-1/8" - 3-1/2" above bottom, maximum bowl height: 5-1/8".
