I just tripped over an article that cites a patient whose psoriasis disappeared on the gluten-free diet.

De Vos R, et.al. "Is there a relationship between psoriasis and coeliac disease?" _JOURNAL OF INTERNAL MEDICINE_ 1995; 237: 119-123 They go on to test other patients who have psoriasis, and find no elevated IgA antigliadin antibodies, and conclude that there is likely no connection between the two diseases.

They cite:
Michaelsson G, et al "How common is gluten intolerance among patients with psoriasis?" _ACTA DERM VENEREOL (Stockh) 1991; 71: 90

indicating that they have seen 7 patients with psoriasis and celiac disease, whose psoriasis got better on a gluten-free diet.

From that I would conclude that psoriasis may be coincidental with celiac disease, from time to time, but there is no clear relationsip. Nonetheless, it also appears that psoriasis may be resolved by a gluten-free diet. I would sure like to see a clinical trial of that one!
