West Indian Day Parade 2007 (148 pictures)

Pictures taken on Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn on 03-Sept-06. I again skipped some of the beginning of the parade. I wanted to skip the politicians and commercial floats. But the parade was delayed and I saw some of them. Again this is a slow parade. Even slower than the year before. At one point there was an hour and 20 minutes between floats! You can see the spacing in my timestamps. All pictures taken with my D200 and a lens with the equivalent of 27-300 mm. If you click the web-sized pictures the original size will display. You will see long times between floats. Some pictures are out-of-focus. This as my brain-dead Nikon 8400 lacks image stabilization, but is programmed as if it had it.
